01/22/11: With ALMOST GOD completed and about to makes its world premeir soon, BLACK RAIN FILMS is gearing up for not one... but two features! Maurice J. Cardwell is simutaneously writing two feature lengths films to start production in March. Not much is being said about the films another than; one is about a Samuria and the other is about the end of the world. More information to be annouced at a later date, pleased stayed tuned.
01/09/11: It's official, the ALMOST GOD trailer is live in HD!!!
01/02/11: The new year has arrived ushering an incredible slate of forthcoming projects from BLACK RAIN FILMS. ALMOST GOD is the first short film to hit the ground, and hit it running! Look for the trailer sometime this month as preparations begin for the film premier. There's a web series in the fold and a feature length film in the works as well as a handful of amazing projects from PSA's to music videos, so stayed tuned and watch the magic that unfolds in 2011!

12/05/10: ALMOST GOD has been "locked" which is a term used in post-production that signifies the film has made it passed the final cut and is on it's way to be scored. Things are wrapping up quickly... and thus far, everything looks amazing!
11/21/10: The cast of ALMOST GOD gets an update and stills. Finally some news!!! Post production is in it's final stages, however, there is additional footage required.

The short film stars Travis Whitney, Eli Patterson, Alexandria Rameriez, Thomas Ryskowski, Mitch Drinkwater, Kareem Hussien and Andre Khrul.
Cinematography by Andre Khrul and the film was written, directed, edited and scored by Maurice J. Cardwell.
Contract operative Jaden Storm has the uncanny ability of resurrection, rendering him incapable of dying, making the arrogant and cavalier gun for hire the perfect weapon.
That is until a mysterious man with Jaden's exact abilities tells him the incredible story of Francis Bacon, and that there is no life without death and that his "lives" are numbered.
The man is hell bent on destroying Jaden at all cost, and thus, the battle of the ages takes place right in front of the eyes of God. This short film is about man's unrelenting pursuit of being anything but man, and the price that is much more than any mere mortal could ever pay.
